Prayer

Prayer is one of the ways believers can communicate with God. It can take the form of a formal prayer, the Lord's Prayer or just having a conversation with someone. We can also pray to Him "in the spirit" which is called speaking in tongues or the "heavenly language". The Lord delights in our speaking and spending time with Him and He will respond to our prayers in various ways. He may lead us to a specific scripture, or through His Holy Spirit give us a "knowing" in our spirit. It may be that He'll drop a thought into our mind which gives us revelation or He may use another person or something in our surroundings (called a sign and wonder) to speak to us.
Intercessory prayer is when we pray on behalf of another or others who are not in a place who are not in a place either spiritually, emotionally or physically to pray for themselves. The Holy Spirit will also lead us to pray for specific circumstances or situations, not only in our own fellowship and nation but worldwide.

1 John 5 v 14 and 15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us. And if we know He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we
asked of Him.

As intercessors it is our desire to have such a deep and intimate relationship with our Lord that we know we pray His will and not our will. If you require prayer either for yourself or someone you know or for a specific situation or circumstance please contact us or come to one of our meetings. It will be our privilege to pray with you.
